His Enduring Legacy

Nobel Peace Prize

In 1964, at age 35, Dr. King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his nonviolent struggle for civil rights.

March on Washington

The 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech, drew over 250,000 people.
